  • Arrive in Beijing.

    Be picked by private vehicle and English speaking tour guide from airport and transferred to hotel.

  • Pick up from your hotel around 8:30 am.

    Walk around on Tiananmen Square. Tiananmen Square is the spiritual heart of the world's most populous country, occupying an area of 440,000 square meters.
    On October 1st,1949, Chairman Mao climbed atop the 'gate of Heavenly Peace'. which gives the square it's name, to proclaim the foundation of the people's Republic of China. On the square's east side house is Chinese history and revolution Museum, on the west is the Great Hall of the People.
    Then we will enter the Forbidden City. also called Palace Museum,the abode of 24 Ming and Qing emperors of the celestial Empire. It is a fittingly awe-inspiring sight, Enclosed behind it's moat and 9.9m high walls are 980 buildings, vast courtyards and long corridors that occupy a total area of 720,000 square meters, It's alleged that as many as 1,000,000 workers and 100,000 artisans participated in the construction of this imperial palace, which began in 1406 and was completed in 1420 during the reign of Ming dynasty, the last emperor Puyi, left the Forbidden city in 1924,11 years after his abdication and the establishment of the Republic of China, after Puyi's departure, the Forbidden city, which had long been off-limits to most mortals, was opened to the public, Hence its current Chinese name, gugong bowuyuan.

    Take a Chinese Herbal Medicine class for about 40 minutes before lunch.

    Drive to restaurant to have lunch.

    After lunch visit the Temple of Heaven. Temple of Heaven is the largest building complex for wroshipping heaven in the world. the layout of the compound reflects its religious purpose and so adheres to geomantic precepts.The Hall of Prayer for Good Harvest inside is one of the most classic China buildings, and it is widespread used as a symbol for Beijing tourism.

    Then visit the Capital Museum.

    Drive to Ming Tombs to visit Changling, the largest one.
    Buried in the Ming tomb area, there are 13 Ming emperors and 23 empresses, as well as many concubines, princes, princesses and maids. Changling Tomb, is the first tomb built in the Ming tomb area, the Hall of Eminent Favor in Changling Tomb is the best preserved one.
    Proceed to a restaurant to have lunch and a short rest.
    Drive to the famous Badaling Great Wall. Badaling is situated at the very top of the mountain to the north of Guangou. There is a narrow path leading to the top of the two precipitous mountains. the Badaling Great wall is built in between two mountains and was constructed to be a communications center. North of Badaling, you can travel to Kangzhuang, Huailai, datong
    and Zhangjiakou; to the east, you can reach Yongning, Sihai and Miyun; to the south you can go to Beijing city proper via Changping, Since the traffic is nice, so it is called Badaling. Cable car is a good choice if one wants to get to the highest point and take the whole beautiful bird.Spend two hours on the Great Wall. Cable car is optional to get the top to have a bird view of the wall.
    Be transferred back to your hotel after the whole day tour.

    Day 4 Beijing Beijing (B,L)

  • Be picked up from hotel at 08:30 am.
    Transfer to Beijing Hutong. Hutong is the narrow alley which is only seen in Beijing. One explaination about the word Hutong is Mongolian word "huto", huto means water wells, because the Mongolian nomadic tribes used to live near water wells. Now Hutong is worldwide known as one of the most special attractions in Beijing. The red lint covered Rickshaws are the Hutong vehicle, the Hutong tour by Rickshaw will take you a wonderful special travel experience in Beijing.
    Then we will to Beijing Zoo. Covering an area of 90 Hectares, Beijing Zoo is China's largest treasure house of animals and birds and has become one of the ten biggest zoos in the world. Include those for pandas, elephants, tigers, hippopotami, rhinoceros, antelopes, giraffes and reptiles. The zoo currently houses more than 5,500 animals from over 650 species.
    Go to a local restaurant to have lunch and a short rest.
    After Lunch. visit Summer Palace. As long ago as the Yuan dynasty, officials set up their private gardens in the scenic area, but the summer palace didn't take on

    its present appearance until the Qing dynasty. Emperor Qianlong deepened the park's manmade lake and added building to serve as a 'country home' for his mother, though it would be the Empress Dowager Cixi who would have the biggest impact on the palace's appearance. Visit it for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
    Take sightseeing in this attraction for about one hour.
    Taste Chinese tea, enjoy Chinese tea ceremony and have a rest in a local tea house.
    Then visit the Olympic Park.
    Be transferred back to your hotel after the whole day tour.

  • Be transferred to airport to connect the flight to Lhasa.
    Arrive in Lhasa, be met by tour guide and private vehicle in the airport.
    Visit the Nietang Buddha on the way to your hotel. Nietang Buddha is named after Mt. Nietang..
    Check in Hotel.
    Remainder of the days is at leisure.

    Visit the Potala Palace.
    Then we will visit the Sera Monastery.
    Move on to visit the Norbulingka Park..
    Visit a Tibetan family to get some information of Tibetan's life and local custom.
    Be transferred back to your hotel. Dinner is served at hotel.

    Visit the Drepung Monastery .
    Then we will visit the Jokhang Temple.
    Move on to visit the thriving bazaar of the Barkhor Street.
    Visit the Tibetan Traditional Hospital and the local Carpet Factory before back to the hotel.
    Dinner is served at hotel.
